HTC One

New phone from HTC the HTC One, with a full metal body, a 4.7 inch screen (full 1080p), 468ppi with a new version of HTC Sense (5.0) that is a new idea for the mobile world. The new Sense 5.0 comes with a feature called BlinkFeed that technically is a place in your phone that you can browse your favorite topic. This phone has a camera of 4 megapixels, but there is a trick, they are called UltraPixells that according to HTC can capture more light in a picture than competing camera phones. The HTC One has a Camera app called Zoe witch basically grabs your photo and puts it in a 30 second movie that you can share with your friends.

In conclusion, this is a very competitive phone for the market with this new HTC Sense and Camera technology. The phone will arrive this March to the U.S. to T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint. There are going to be two versions, the 32GB version with a price of $199.99 and the 64GB version with a price of $299.99.

Things I Like : M-AUDIO Venom Synth

Today we are taking a look at M-AUDIO's Venom Synth.

The 12-Voice Virtual Analog Synthesizer, Venom, is a synth that can be also used as a MIDI controller. The list price on this thing is $549.99 but you can find it cheaper through the net on sites like Amazon.com for $315.66. Some of the key features on this 49-key Keyboard are 3 oscillators, 3 LFOs and 3 Envelopes. I know, I know... Those aren't the full features but I will like to point those out. In case you are interested in more info you can head over to the M-AUDIO site for more information.

One last feature before we move into the real business here... This synth comes with a Software called Vyzex Venom where you can further tweak sounds and create them on your PC or Mac.

So... What is the overall performance of this thing?

This keyboard performs extremely well for how affordable it is. Being completely honest, Im not a keyboardist neither a musician nor an expert on Synthesizers, but the possibilities of this keyboard are amazing. It comes with great banks of sounds for those who doesn't know that much about synthesis, like me :), but the interface is really easy and understandable for inexperienced producers. One thing that I like is how fast you can create ideas from your synth and from your DAW or Digital Audio Workstation with the MIDI capabilities of the keyboard.

Overall, great sounds and great possibilities with this tool. The ability to tweak sounds with these Envelopes is beyond amazing. Sure is, there is much more to say about this synth but for the purpose of this section we will only say that it has a rich sound, a great analog sound and something that for a bunch of people might be simple, that ARP button is awesome.

This does it for another delivery of Things I Like, know that y'all all welcome to leave comments.

Thanks,

This new all-electric car is one incredible piece of technology with a starting price of $57,400 USD. Tired of gas prices rising? This car gives you 300 miles with one charge (depending on the model) and has an incredible performance. With the Tesla Model S it begins a new era for the car. Each model of the car brings distinct features depending on your choice. Don’t be afraid of the change, I think there is more to come.

Samsung Galaxy S4?

Rumors have been released that the new phone from Samsung the Galaxy S4 is set to debut on March 15, 2013. Samsung has not released any comment on this rumor; neither released any details about the phone. This powerful competitor against the iPhone is one of the most sold phones in the market. This phone is one of the most expected phones of the year; I can wait to see it. I expect sensational features. I expect a great competition against the iPhone.

What do you think?

New Era

There are many innovative products today in the market. It is incredible to see how the world has evolved from having phones that looked like bricks to an iPhone 5, Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note. All the innovative products have been designed for a better way of life, lets say a different way to see life. How do you picture yourself without a smart phone, without a PC. All of this things have become real thanks to many great minds in technology, but there is still to come. Were close to a new era, where we will be able to communicate with our cars and even our homes.

Things I Like : Native Instruments' KONTAKT 5

Today we are taking a look at Native Instruments' KONTAKT 5, their latest edition, Welcome.

Before we get into this post, I just want to explain the concept behind "Things I Like". This section on ThinkInnovation is dedicated to bring you the latest tech available for music production and so forth... These products are personal favorites and I think sharing these might be useful for people looking for honest reviews as good information. Lets continue!

This is the latest edition of KONTAKT, a powerful sampler with great libraries and great sounds. Personally, I truly believe is a great upgrade from KONTAKT 4. With new filters and new creative tools, that help us edit and craft new sounds, KONTAKT 5 gets the job done when it comes to music production. Is both supported on Windows and Mac and the price range goes from $99.00 - $399.00 bucks.

Now to the interesting part, how is the experience behind this powerful tool and plug-in?

The overall performance is excellent to me. When it comes to producing fresh ideas this thing is awesome. Great sounds and good quality samples. One thing that I love about KONTAKT 5 is the ability to take chopped samples and importing them into the plug-in so you can mess around and play with the filters, equalizers and different tools that KONTAKT 5 provide us.

Overall great quality, great sound and is money well spend. More than 43 GB of samples and sounds? That sounds good to me.

Have a good one,
